SUBJECT: EDC Contract Renewal

STATEMENT OF ISSUE: Request approval for contract renewal with the Okaloosa
Economic Development Council.
BACKGROUND: The Economic Development Council entered into an Agreement for
specialized marketing services on February 15, 2011. The contract was in effect through
September 30, 2012, and may be considered by the Board for three additional one-year periods.
At the August 19, 2014 BCC meeting, the Board approved increasing the contracted amount tot
the EDC by $12,000. That amount is included in this renewal request. The Contract/Lease
Renewal Form and Insurance Certificate are attached.
OPTIONS: Approve, Reject or Table.
RECOMMENDATIONS: Request to approve Economic Development Council's contract
renewal.
