You might want to simply rephrase it to request authority of the Board to prepare and bring back to the Board a RFQ relating to the provisions of the services that complies with CCNA. The language about the dollar amount and continuing service contract was confusing. This might help the Board understand the request. We are only requesting approval to purchase the 3.07 acres. Purchase contract and deed will follow to subsequent mtg for approval and chairman's signature. In short, if the BCC denies this 1 item, it terminates the following requests...and the project. 2. I'm not sure what's confusing? Yes, requesting board approval to solicit RFQ's and the appointment of a Review Committee. Yes, it will be accomplished per the CCNA. Thank you for your expeditious review. Should the BCC approve all items, we will return with a land purchase contract and an engineering proposal for the environmental and design (from RFQ process). However, there is no sales/purchase contract nor form Warranty Deed included in the attachments. These will need to be presented to the Board before they can grant final approval. 2) Paragraph 5 under the “Background” section of the agenda item is a bit confusing. Were you seeking direction from the Board as to whether CCNA is applicable? Or seeking authorization to proceed with an RFQ pursuant to CCNA?
