A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF FORT WALTON
BEACH, FLORIDA, AMENDING RESOLUTION 2006-
12 TO ESTABLISH AND INCLUDE A MAXIMUM FEE
TO BE CHARGED BY WRECKER OPERATORS AND
OWNERS FOR THE WRECKER SERVICE OF
IMMOBILIZATION (" BOOTING") IN THE CITY
LIMITS OF THE CITY OF FORT WALTON BEACH,
FLORIDA, AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
WALTON BEACH:
Section I.That the City Council hereby establishes, pursuant to the terms of
Ordinance 1671, the maximum fee to be charged by wreckers and wrecker services for
providing immobilization or " booting" services in the city limits of the City of Fort
Walton Beach, as follows.
Section II.
A. The maximum fee to be charged for wreckers and wrecker services to
provide any immobilization or " booting" service shall be $ 2. 50.
Section III. All other provisions of Resolution 2006- 12 not in conflict with this
resolution shall continue in full force and effect.
Section IV. This resolution shall take effect upon adoption by the Council.
