A Public Hearing of the Okaloosa County Board of County
Commissioners was called to order at 6:30 p.m. at the County
Administration Building in Shalimar. Members present were Carolyn
N. Ketchel, Chairman; Graham Fountain, Vice Chairman; Nathan
Beyles; Trey Goodwin and Charles K. Windes, Jr. Also present were
J. D. Peacock II, Clerk of Circuit Court; John Hofstad, County
Administrator; and Greg Stewart, County Attorney.

PUBLIC HEARING - OKALOOSA COUNTY WATER AND SEWER TO CONSTRUCT THE
GARNIERS WATER MAIN IMPROVEMENTS PHASE ID (NEWPORT/ESSEX AREA)
PROJECT
Mr. Jeff Littrell, Water & Sewer Director, stated staff recommends
approval to authorize Ckaloosa County Water and Sewer Department
(OCWS) to construct the Newport/Essex Area Water System
Improvement Project wusing a OCWS staff and equipment as
supplemented in accordance with the County Ordinances and State
Statutes.
No one came forward to speak in favor of or in opposition to the
proposed resolution. Mr. Boyles made motion, seconded by Mr.
Windes, to approve. 5 yeas.

ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to come before the Board, the
meeting was adjourned at 6:32 p.m.
