SUBJECT: Byrne Memorial Assistance Grant Applications
The Florida Department of Law Enforcement, through the Edward Byrne Memorial Justice
Assistance Grant (JAG) Program JAG Countywide - State Solicitation, has allocated $75,150 to
Okaloosa County to be used by local units of government.
The Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office, the Judge Ben Gordon, Jr. Family Visitation Center and
the Emerald Coast Children's Advocacy Center are requesting approval to submit on-line
applications, and authorization for the Chairman to execute the original grant applications as
required by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.
Documentation is attached that describes the grant requests.
