Earlier, I asked Dr. Marlowe for whom he worked. He answered, " the council." Conduct of the meeting: Our selected representatives have been told they can't participate. Initially I think it was stated they could not vote. I don't recall that the council discussed that they could not give their opinions or ideas. I feel that the seating arrangement on Saturday should be as the orignal session with the same participation. I had to make a special request to get a hard copy of "Strategic Choices ". I have reviewed the contents and find some items requested by council members are missing. It appears that most of the items are your items which you must have supplied to Dr. Marlowe. I find that council reps have not received a copy of "Strategic Choices ". I guess my confusion rests on who works for whom. They were not generated by me, although Dr. Marlowe did give staff an opportunity for feed back. If you believe there are items missing, then that is precisely why Dr. Marlowe has made himself available tomorrow afternoon to make any additions or changes to that list. Regarding the participants of the "Super Focus Group ", their task, as outlined and approved by Council was for the one meeting. They are of course invited to attend this workshop, but it is Council's direction that we are seeking. We had to leave messages to a couple of them but plan to follow up today to make sure they know they are welcome at the meeting. We also advised them they will be sitting in the audience at this meeting and they understood and agreed to the best of my knowledge. I will be emailing a copy of the Strategic Choices provided by Dr. Marlowe today to the focus group. Dr. Pullen was sent a copy of the Strategic Choices on Tuesday when you sent it to all of us. Please let me know if you need anything else from us. Also I have taken care of breakfast and lunch and will open and close the Senior Center. I plan to have them set up the seating about the same way as before minus the focus group seating unless you have another plan and if you do please let me know. Buddy will take the chairs in the Council over and pick up the drinks from here and any other stuff we need to take over to the Senior Center.
