Spencer I:\ LEGALS \COUNCIL\2008 \05- 10 -08.DOC City Clerk Legal 4199 May 8, 2008  RESOLUTION 2008 - 07 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF FORT WALTON BEACH, FLORIDA, CREATING A SUPER FOCUS GROUP; PROVIDING FOR MEMBERSHIP BY EIGHT CITIZENS; SETTING FORTH THE PURPOSE OF THE GROUP; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WALTON BEACH, FLORIDA: SECTION 1. The City Council wishes to form a Super Focus Group composed of eight citizens. The purpose of the committee is to assist the Council in their strategic assessment of Issues developed at the 2008 Citizen Focus Group and public meetings and in developing the 2008 Strategic Plan for the City of Fort Walton Beach. SECTION 2. Therefore, the City Council hereby creates the 2008 Super Focus Group The Group shall be composed of eight members chosen by the Mayor and each Council members selecting one citizen each. The Group shall be governed by the provisions of chapter 2 of the Code of Ordinances as applicable. SECTION 3. The Super Focus Group will meet at least once and otherwise as determined by City Council during 2008. SECTION 4. This Resolution shall be effective upon passage by City Council.
