Discussion continued on the value of having the ISP review the documents, and whether an
independent review is really needed. Mr. Rynearson stated he would like an independent study
done but not with ISP, as there are a lot unknowns, and the importance of hearing the risk
analysis from the Finance Director. The city Manager stated there is another organization called
PERF, but they are private and would require payment, and he is not sure of their time frame.
Mr. Nabors stated it is important for Council to have all the information available to them so
Council can discuss the issue intelligently.
Consensus was to hold a special meeting on Thursday, May 10, 2012, to consider the
information regarding the Sheriffs proposal, with a review from the Police Chief and the risk
analysis report from the Finance Director, and to invite the sheriff to the meeting.
