complete the approved program for FY 2011. District: All.
9. Request approval of a Special Event Permit and waiver of permit fees for
the use of James Lee Park in Destin for an aid station during a 50 mile
beach run event on February 19, 2011, sponsored by Destin 50 Beach
Ultra, Inc.

VI. Old Business
1. Request direction for the County Tax Collector as to which advertising
medium to utilize for advertisement of delinquent taxes as required by
Florida Statute. District: All.
Wayne Harris made a motion to approve items #1 - 2. bill Roberts seconded. Vote 5-0.
2. Request approval of and authorize the Chairman to execute a joint
Resolution with Florida Panhandle counties concerning environmental
and economic recovery from the Deepwater Horizon oil spill. District:
All.
3. Request consideration and staff direction concerning the County’s
Strategic Plan and related comments from Commissioner Roberts.
District: All.
Dave Parisot made a motion to accept strategic plan with new vision statement provided by Wayne
Harris. Bill Roberts seconded. Vote 5-0.
VII. New Business
1. Request consideration and staff direction concerning scheduling a
preliminary budget workshop on March 29th. District: All.
Set workshop for March 29th at 6 p.m. in Crestview.
