STATEMENT OF ISSUE: Request approval of Amendment One to Asphalt Paving Systems,
Inc. (C16-2368-PW)
BACKGROUND & ANALYSIS: On February 25, 2016 the Board approved a contract with
Asphalt Paving Systems, Inc. for Pavement Preservation - Micro Surface. Staff is requesting to
amend the contract to add the assignment and payment for work by task orders. Staff requests
approval of Amendment One and authorization for the Chairman to sign the document. In
addition, staff requests authorization to submit payment for any work which was performed since
the approval of the contract and subsequent task orders.
OPTIONS: (1) Approve/Deny Amendment One of the Asphalt Paving Systems, Inc. contract
(C16-2368-PW) and authorize the Chairman to sign the document. (2) Approve/Deny payment
for any work which was performed since the approval of the contract and subsequent task orders.
RECOMMENDATION: (1) Staff recommends approval of Amendment One of the Asphalt
Paving Systems, Inc. contract (C16-2368-PW) and authorize the Chairman to sign the document.
