SUBJECT: FAA Risk Assessment Checklist

BCC DISTRICT: All
STATEMENT OF ISSUE: The BCC is requested to approve the FAA Grant Oversight Risk
Assessment Checklist for Okaloosa County Airports.
BACKGROUND: The FAA has asked that the checklist be completed to assess whether the
airport sponsor (BCC) has policies, procedures and information technology infrastructure to
support the Airport Improvement Program (AIP) grant administration process. The checklist has
been completed by appropriate departments and is supported by the attached documentation.
Although the FAA has not required submission of the documentation, it is being provided to the
BCC for assurance that proper certification can be made. The latest BCC approved Purchasing
Manual document (4/2/13) is included in this agenda item.
OPTIONS: Approve, Disapprove, Table
RECOMMENDATIONS: Approval for the Chairman to sign the attached checklist.
