Re: EDC RESTORE Act Advisory Committee
Dear Commissioner Amunds:
In response to your March 25 letter, the Economic Development Council’s Executive Committee
and Business Leadership Council voted unanimously on May 16 to designate Kay Rasmussen as
the EDC’s representative on the Board of County Commissioners RESTORE Act Advisory
Committee. During this same process, three members-at-large candidates were also identified
for your consideration and are fully endorsed by the Economic Development Council: Mr. Jim
Breitenfeld, Ms. Pamela Dana, and Mrs. Kelly Murphy-Redd.
The EDC is honored to be a partner in the county’s mission to responsively oversee plan
development and execution of funds related to the RESTORE Act for long-term beneficial
projects for the betterment of Okaloosa County.
Kay will be submitting her respective application to your attention. If any additional information
is needed, please feel free to contact me.
Sincerely,
James Heald
