STATEMENT OF ISSUE: Seeking Board approval to utilize the State of Florida Contract for
the purchase of one (1) 800 Power Sweeper, Rider.
BACKGROUND & ANALYSIS: The Airport staff have requested the purchase of one (1) 800
Power Sweeper, Rider. The State of Florida Contract has a 800 Power Sweeper, Rider that
meets the specs of the requested sweeper. The total cost of the sweeper is $70,819.74. The
Purchasing Manual authorizes the use of State contract prices without further negotiations.
Airport staff has provided documentation that funding is available for the purchase.
OPTIONS: Award or Reject purchase of one (1) 800 Power Sweeper, Rider.
RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends approving purchase of One (1) Model 800 Power
Sweeper from State of Florida Contract.
