Eubanks [mailto:meubanks@okaloosaclerk.com] Sent: Thursday, January 21, 2016 7:33 AM To: Tracy Stage; Wendy Cain Cc: Gary Stanford; Ashley S. Endris Subject: FW: Final pay request to ThyssenKrupp Good morning, | am writing to request additional information regarding the attached pay request. 1. Yesterday, you mentioned the contract document did not require ThyssenKrupp to provide subcontractor invoicing. | didn’t notice a completed form within the contract documents indicating ThyssenKrupp would be utilizing subcontractors. Please see attached “Performance of Work by Subs” from the contract documents. Curious, why didn’t ThyssenKrupp submit progress pay requests? A majority of the costs of this project was for 2 boarding bridges that essentially where built off site and trucked in to “plug and play”. A lot of the project time was used for the building of these bridges that are made to order. We could not/ did not have any requests for payment to approve as the bridges were not in place and installed. Not your typical long term construction project. I noticed in the email communications Michael Baker International, Inc. may be asking ThyssenKrupp for the subcontractor invoices, is that in progress? It was in progress, but MB was unable to obtain the invoices. MB did receive Final Waiver and Release of Liens. One from AERObridge to Thyssen and one from Cathey to AERObridge because they were actually a sub of AERObridge (documents attached). Again, the County does not have a contract with any particular sub/s, our contract is with Thyseen and they do not have to furnish any of their subs pricing, invoices or contracts (mainly for protection of pricing from competitors at other airports that are doing the same work.) Are you in the process of obtaining the subcontractor release of liens? | didn’t notice them in the attached documentation. See above. Thank you for your help. Marcella B.
