STATEMENT OF ISSUE: Seeking approval of contract with Mansfield Oil Company. (FLT
03-15)
BACKGROUND & ANALYSIS: On November 18, 2014 the Board approved award of the
contract with Mansfield Oil Company as the lowest responsible/responsive bidder to provide
gasoline and diesel fuel to Okaloosa County. Staff has acquired the signatures on the contract
and requests approval of the contract and authorization for the Chairman to sign the document.
The Mansfield Oil contract will supply gasoline and diesel fuels for a period of three (3) years
with the option to renew for two (2) additional one (1) year periods.
OPTIONS: Approve/Deny award of a contract to Mansfield Oil Company to supply gasoline
and diesel fuel.
RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends approval of contract to Mansfield Oil Company to
supply gasoline and diesel fuel.
