STATEMENT OF ISSUE: Staff requests BCC Approval to extend existing Lease Agreement
between Okaloosa County Water & Sewer and Allwood Furniture at 1310 Oddfellow Road -
Units A & B in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. This unit is located in a building owned by Okaloosa
County Water & Sewer.
BACKGROUND: Okaloosa County Water & Sewer purchased the building on the east side of
Oddfellow Road in 2006, and currently has five tenants resulting in $37,830.00 rent annually.
This lease renewal would be for the standard one year term - 10/1/2013 to 9/30/2014. A copy of
the original lease and a copy of the lease renewal are attached. The annual rent for this lease will
be $10,800.00 Payable as 12-$900.00 monthly payments.
OPTIONS: Approve or deny the Lease Agreement Renewal for Stephen Isaac of Allwood
Furniture.
RECOMMENDATIONS: Staff recommends approval by the BCC to authorize the Chairman
to execute the Lease Agreement Renewal with Stephen Isaac of Allwood Furniture.
