SUMMARY
Pursuant to the City of Fort Walton Beach Code of Ordinances, Volume II, Chapter 4,
section 4.01., paragraph 4. 01.025 of the Purchasing Policies and Procedures, request
authorization to award RFP # 07- 109 Replace Fuel System at FWB Golf Course to the
lowest responsible, responsive bidder, Wiregrass Petroleum of Dothan, AL at the price
outlined in the bid tabulation sheet. The new system will replace a temporary fuel system
we are currently using at the Golf Course maintenance complex. If approved, funding
is
available in Account # 404- 5125- 572- 6997 and Special Project Carryover Account #404-
8125- 572- 6997 in the total amount of $61, 943.
Recommend that City Council approve the purchase of a new fuel system from Wiregrass
Petroleum, Dothan, AL for a total of $46, 994. 65
