SUBJECT: Request to Purchase a One Ton Cab & Chassis 4X2 (Dump Truck)
SUMMARY
Pursuant to City of Fort Walton Beach Code of Ordinances, Volume II,
Chapter 4, Section 4. 01,
Paragraph 4. 01.025 and the Purchasing Policies and Procedures, request authorization to
purchase one (1) One Ton Cab & Chassis ( Dump Truck) under the provisions of the Sheriff's
Contract from Orville Beckford Ford, Milton, Florida, as outlined on Attachment # 1.
All prices are in accordance with the Sheriff: s Contract. According to the City' s Purchasing
Policy, the City may procure, without [ onnal bid procedures, all supplies, materials and
equipment which are the subject of contracts with the State of Florida as set forth in Section 287
of the Florida Statutes, as amended time to time.
If approved, sufficient funds are available in account number 404- 0700- 572- 6404 in the amount
of $40, 000.00.
Recommend that City Council approve the purchase of one ( 1) One Ton Cab & Chassis (
Dump
Truck) from Orville Beckford Ford, Milton, Florida, for a total of$ 34,911.00.
