BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS AGENDA REQUEST DATE: December 1, 2015 TO: Honorable Chairman and Members of the Board FROM: Ed Schroeder SUBJECT: Dish Worth the Drive payment DEPARTMENT: Tourist Development Department BCC DISTRICT: 2,4,5 STATEMENT OF ISSUE: Request approval to issue payment to Atlanta Eats in the amount of $2,500 for Dish Worth the Drive (PO 21501423). BACKGROUND: The County issued PO 21501423 to Atlanta Eats for distribution of the Emerald Coast dining video twice in 44 markets as well as on southernliving.com. Several affiliates have pushed back on a second TV airing due to Fall programming schedules (show premieres, football, etc) and the distribution on southernliving.com is not yet live. However, a third distribution channel has been added, which will place the episode in the seat back TV on all Delta domestic & international flights for 6 months in January - June of 2016. Board approval is requested to issue full payment in the amount of $2,500 at this time, as the value received from the airings to date is estimated to exceed $2,500. OPTIONS: Approve or Disapprove RECOMMENDATION: Approve payment to Atlanta Eats in the amount of $2,500 for Dish Worth the Drive (PO 21501423).
