Contract C13-2034-IS DEPARTMENT: Information Systems BCC DISTRICT: ALL STATEMENT OF ISSUE: The Duke Field Secondary Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) Fiber Optic Link project is complete and CCI Systems, Inc. has submitted all required closeout submittals including a final payment request and Change Order No. 1. BACKGROUND: On April 2, 2013 the Board approved the award of the Duke Field SCADA Fiber Optic Link Bid No. 04-13 IS to CCI Systems, Inc., the lowest responsive, responsible bidder. Final inspection of the work was conducted and the project was considered substantially complete as of January 30, 2014. The project came in under budget by $2,404.36 and the final contract amount is $161,113.72 as indicated on Change Order No. 1 attached. OPTIONS: Approve/Disapprove Final Payment request and Change Order No. 1. RECOMMENDATIONS: Approve the Chairman sign Change Order No. 1 which reduces the final contract amount by $2,404.36 and the Final Payment to CCI Systems, Inc. in the amount of $161,113.72.
