SUBJECT: Price Farm Plantation Subdivision

STATEMENT OF ISSUE: The developer has requesting approval by the Board of County
Commissioners for the project to enter into the County's permanent maintenance system.
BACKGROUND: Price Farms Plantation subdivision was accepted by the Board of County
Commissioners to enter into the 18-month warranty period on October 18, 2011. On August 20,
2013 the letter of credit was extended due to deficiencies with project. The improvements
dedicated to the Public have been inspected and are now ready and eligible for acceptance as part
of the permanent maintenance system. Infrastructure dedicated to the Public includes rights-of-
ways, roads, signage, stormwater management areas and associated easements. All documents
associated with this request are attached as exhibits for reference.
OPTIONS: Approve/Disapprove the Developer's request:
RECOMMENDATIONS: Approve acceptance of the work performed within the Price Farms
Plantation subdivision to enter into the County's permanent maintenance system and release the
Irrevocable Standby Letter of Credit No. 201105 issued by Coastal Bank & Trust in the amount
of Sixty Two Thousand and 00/100 Dollars (62,000.00).
