SUBJECT: Airport Contract Extensions (C09-1736-AP, C09-1737-AP)

STATEMENT OF ISSUE: Ratify the List of Task Orders/Amendments for extension of the
contracts with The LPA Group, Inc. (C09-1736-AP) and Reynolds, Smith and Hills, Inc. (C09-
1737-AP) for completion of previously approved Task Orders.
BACKGROUND & ANALYSIS: On May 6, 2014 the Board approved to extend the contracts
with The LPA Group, Inc. and Reynolds, Smith, and Hills, Inc. which expired on July 8, 2014.
There are currently four (4) Task Orders (#12 Amend 1, #15, #16 & #17) with the LPA Group,
Inc. and two (2) Task Orders (#13 & #15) with Reynolds, Smith, and Hills, Inc. which have on-
going work that will extend past the expiration of the contracts. On May 6, 2014 the Board
approved to extend the contracts and on July 1, 2014 the Board approved to memorialize the
contract extensions with amendments. The list of task orders to be extended was included on the
May 6, 2014 agenda but not on the July 1, 2014 agenda. Staff requests the Board ratify the list
of task orders with the amendments to extend the contracts.
OPTIONS: Approve/Disapprove ratification of the task order list and amendments of the
contracts with the LPA Group, Inc. (C09-1736-AP) and Reynolds, Smith, and Hills, Inc. (C09-
1737-AP) for the completion of existing Task Orders.
RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends ratification of the task order list and amendments
of the contracts with the LPA Group, Inc. (C09-1736-AP) and Reynolds, Smith, and Hills, Inc.
(C09-1737-AP) for the completion of existing Task Orders.
