DEPARTMENT: Public Works BCC DISTRICT: 1&3 STATEMENT OF ISSUE: On February 17, 2015 the Board of County Commissioners approved Task Order 3 with Asphalt Paving Systems (APS) for work related with the annual roadway preservation program. The approved task order failed to incorporate the contractual CPI adjustment; this amendment will correct the task order value to include the required $106 adjustment. BACKGROUND: Asphalt Paving Systems, Inc is the contractor tasked with providing annual road preservation techniques based upon staff recommendation of treatment types for roads within the County maintenance system. On February 17, 2015 the Board of County Commissioners approved Task Order 3 with APS for the annual roadway preservation program. The approved task order was for a not to exceed value of $46,501.76, but that total failed to include the contractually required CPI adjustment. This adjustment equates to $106, resulting in a proper task order value of $46,607.76. The list of streets and scope of work remains unchanged. Funds are available within the existing preservation program budget. OPTIONS: Approve/Disapprove Amendment 1 to Task Order 3 with Asphalt Paving Systems as part of Contract C12-1960-PW for a total not to exceed cost of $46,607.76.
