SUBJECT: Approval of Airport Ice Machine Lease
DEPARTMENT: Airport

STATEMENT OF ISSUE: The BCC is requested to approve the lease of an ice machine
from Crosby Ice, LLC .
BACKGROUND: The Airports Department desires to enter into a lease of five (5) years to
support the airlines' requirement for ice on each flight on a reimbursable basis. The lease
requires a monthly payment of $1,200 rent in advance. The monthly cost will be billed to
the airlines based on market share. The lease has been coordinated in accordance with
County policy.
OPTIONS: Approve, disapprove, table.
RECOMMENDATIONS: Staff recommends approval of the lease with Crosby Ice, LLC.
