STATEMENT OF ISSUE: The Board of County Commissioners is requested to approve the
Chairman to sign the contract for the construction of the Interior Terminal Modifications for
Police Station at the Northwest Florida Regional Airport with Lord & Son Construction Inc. in
the amount of $82,850.
BACKGROUND: The Board of County Commissioners approved the construction contract
award to Lord & Son Construction Inc. at the January 21, 2014 commission meeting. The project
is funded from Passenger Facility Charges at 70% and Airport Reserves at 30%.
OPTIONS: Approve, Reject or Table
RECOMMENDATIONS: Approve the request for the Chairman to sign the contract to Lord &
Son Construction Inc. In the amount of $82,850.
