BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS AGENDA REQUEST DATE: July 6, 2016 TO: Honorable Chairman and Members of the Board FROM: Tracy Stage SUBJECT: Hudson Group Amendment Three DEPARTMENT: Airport BCC DISTRICT: 2 STATEMENT OF ISSUE: The Airports Department requests the Board of County Commissioners approve Hudson Group, Inc.'s Amendment Number Three to add additional square footage to their current Contract (C04-1068-AP). BACKGROUND: The Board has previously entered into a contract with Hudson Group, Inc. on June 7, 2004 to provide merchandise, food and beverage concession at the Destin - Fort Walton Beach Airport. Hudson Group, Inc. has requested the use of sixty (60) additional square feet in Concourse A in order to accommodate passengers traveling with Allegiant Air and GLO Airlines by selling food and beverage items to the traveling public. The additional flights are anticipated to generate an additional 38,000 passengers annually and will be operated from Concourse A. The contract and internal coordination sheet is attached. OPTIONS: Approve, Reject or Table. RECOMMENDATIONS: It is Staff's recommendation that the Board approve Hudson Group Amendment Three as described above.
