STATEMENT OF ISSUE: The Board is requested to approve the three year renewals of the
following Information Technology service contracts that are expiring on August 4, 2016 for PC
Specialists, Inc. DBA Technology Integration Group (TIG) contract number C14-2206-IS and
Teklinks, Inc. contract number C14-2201-IS. These contracts must be renewed to continue
ongoing support and coordination for the following IT related services such as: networking,
VoIP, administration, analysis, installation, security, storage, virtual environments and email.
BACKGROUND: On August 5, 2014 the Board approved contracts C14-2206-IS with PC
Specialists, Inc. DBA Technology Integration Group (TIG) and C14-2201-IS with Teklinks, Inc.
with a term of 08/05/14 to 08/04/2016. These contracts are now eligible for a three year renewal
to start on 08/05/16 and end on 08/04/19. The renewal/amendments are attached for your
consideration, along with a copy of the current contract, Certificate of Insurance and Internal
Coordination Sheet.
OPTIONS: Approve/Disapprove
RECOMMENDATIONS: Okaloosa County Information Technology Department requests
BCC approval to authorize the Chairman to execute a Three year contract renewal for each of the
above-mentioned vendors.
