BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS AGENDA REQUEST DATE: May 19, 2015 TO: Honorable Chairman and Members of the Board FROM: Jason Autrey SUBJECT: Payment Approval for the Kennedy Jr. Title Search for Okaloosa Lane DEPARTMENT: Public Works BCC DISTRICT: 1 STATEMENT OF ISSUE: Staff is requesting authorization for payment in the amount of $150.00 to Moulton Land Title, Inc. for services rendered. BACKGROUND: A title search was requested and initiated by County Engineering staff during the acquisition of the Bobby G. Kennedy Jr. parcel in connection with the paving of Okaloosa Lane from Serenity Lane to Aplin Road. Staff was not able to make direct payment as anticipated, nor were credit cards acceptable due to the title company not accepting at this time. Therefore, a request is being made to authorize payment in the amount of $150.00 to Moulton Land Title for services rendered. OPTIONS: Approve/Disapprove authorization for payment of $150.00 to Moulton Land Title, Inc. for services performed. RECOMMENDATIONS: Approve authorization for payment of $150.00 to Moulton Land Title, Inc. for services performed in relation to the Okaloosa Lane Improvement Project.
