Why do you love your City? The City Council is in the process of developing a 3 — 5 year strategic
plan for the City of Fort Walton Beach. We need the input of our residents to develop the vision for
the upcoming years. In order to get your input we are hosting a series of Citizen Focus Group
meetings.
You are cordially invited to participate in a Citizens Focus Group. Please select one of the meeting
times below and call Cathy Ducharme at 833 -9598 to reserve your seat.
The City is hosting these Citizen Focus Groups with residents to learn how you envision YOUR city
3 -5 years from now - what you' d like to see in the City, find out what the City does well and not so
well and what services you value. We want to know where you' d like to see the City of Fort Walton
Beach in the next three to five years.
Based on the Vision of our residents, the City Council will be able to make decisions that support
YOUR vision for the City. We need your input and ask that you think about why you chose the City
of Fort Walton Beach as your home. We want to ensure that we keep and enhance those things that
are important to you. Let us know!
The City is very excited about this groundbreaking community -based strategic planning process. We
want you, the resident ofthe City ofFort Walton Beach, to help us develop the 2008 —2013 Strategic
Plan for the City. We look forward to hearing from you at the meeting.
