STATEMENT OF ISSUE: A proposed Amendment to the Other Transaction Agreement
(OTA) , Department of Homeland Security - Transportation Security Administration and the
Northwest Florida Regional Airport for Baggage Recapitalization Screening Design Services
Project is being presented to the Board of County Commissioners for approval.
BACKGROUND: The Other Transaction Agreement, Department of Homeland Security -
Transportation Security Administration and the Northwest Florida Regional Airport expires
September 1, 2013. The project design completion date is estimated to be December 31, 2013.
The proposed amendment will extend the expiration date of this contract to December 31, 2013.
OPTIONS: Approve, Reject or Table.
RECOMMENDATIONS: It is Staff's recommendation that the Board approve the Amendment
as stated above.
