Mayor mentioned his attendance at the Gulf Power Symposium today; pointed out the
brochure prepared by the PIO to let the citizens know how the Council meetings work, and his
attendance at the Old School House birthday party.
CITY MANAGER ANNOUNCEMENTS
The City Manager requested permission to provide in- kind services to the Dog Daze event on
September 29, 2007.
Mr. Minich moved to approve in- kind services for Dog Daze event on September 29, 2007.
Mr. Reeves seconded motion and it carried unanimously with Holmes, Miller, Reeves,
Garvie, Pullen, Hartwell, and Minich in favor.
The City Manager excused herself from the next meeting on September 25th. The Mayor explained
that the City Manager has been nominated for the Athena Award and the Second Annual Athena
Award Ceremony will be held on September 25th.
The City Manager announced a pancake breakfast to raise funds for the American Heart
Association on September 22nd at the Magnolia Grill; the Sound Park ribbon cutting on September
28th, and the Library " Book a Trip to Iceland" program on September 26th at 3: 00 pm.
