RESOLUTION NO. 2009-48
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF FORT WALTON BEACH,
FLORIDA, AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR OCTOBER 1, 2009 THROUGH
SEPTEMBER 30, 2010 BUDGET TO MAKE CERTAIN AMENDMENTS TO
DESIGNATED APPROPRIATIONS OF CITY FUNDS; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
WALTON BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:
Section 1. Authority
Resolution 2009- 40, adopted on September 16, 2009, authorizes amendments to
the FY 2009- 10 budget by resolution.
Section 2. General Fund Budget Amendment
a. City Council authorized increasing the annual lease payment for the Emerald
Coast Science Center from $ 1, 000 to $ 3, 427 on October 13, 2009.
b. City Council authorized decreasing the annual lease payment for the
Northwest Florida Fair Association from $25, 000 to $ 4, 721 on November 24,
2009.
Therefore, rental and lease income is reduced $ 17, 852 and there is appropriated
17, 852 from undesignated fund balance, resulting in no net change to the General Fund
budget of$ 18, 610, 604.
Section 3. Effective Date
This resolution shall take effect immediately upon approval by the City Council
and signature by the Mayor.
