STATEMENT OF ISSUE: [PUR] Seeking approval to reject the Compressed Natural Gas
(CNG) Roll-Off Truck Bid (RECY 30-14).
BACKGROUND & ANALYSIS: Section K (1) (e) of the Purchasing Manual requires that a
bid must be advertised at least 14 days. During the bid process for the CNG Roll-off truck, staff
attempted to advertise the bid as required. There was a confirmation sent to staff regarding the
advertisement but, unfortunately, the ad was not published. Purchasing staff is requesting the
Board reject all bids received because the advertisement was not published and authorize the bid
to be re-advertised.
OPTIONS: Approve/Deny request to reject the Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) Roll-Off Truck
Bid (RECY 30-14) and authorize staff to re-advertise the bid.
RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends the Board approve to reject the Compressed
Natural Gas (CNG) Roll-Off Truck Bid (RECY 30-14) and authorize staff to re-advertise the bid.
