Items 9. 10 & 11 The Police Department has budgeted $ 80, 000 for four vehicles. The cost of Ford Crown Victoria Police Pursuit Package has remained near $ 20, 000 per vehicle, including requested options, for the past several years. This year, there has been enough of a price increase to move the unit cost, with requested options, to more than $ 20, 000 per vehicle. $ 3, 498 additional is required to purchase the four vehicles with the options itemized in the bid tab. The Police Department has $ 8, 575 budgeted for replacement radios. By replacing only critically needed radios ( portable radios), $ 3, 498 can be transferred from account 001 -0800 -521. 64 -05, Communications Equipment, into 001 -0800 -521. 64 -03, Passenger Vehicles. The remaining balance will be sufficient to replace enough portable radios to maintain the 10 year
