SUBJECT: Information Technology Services Contract Awards

STATEMENT OF ISSUE: The Board is requested to award and authorize the Chairman to
sign contracts for Information Technology Services with Technology Integration Group (TIG),
L-3 and TEKLINKS, Inc.
BACKGROUND: The Board had previously approved contract negotiations with the top three
bidders of RFQ #IS 43-14 Information Technology Services, namely TIG, L-3 and TEKLINKS,
Inc. These services included, but are not limited to, networking, networking equipment, fiber
connections, design, Voice Over Internet Protocol (VoIP), routing, switching, administration,
analysis, installation, security, storage, virtual environments and email. The nature of the service
will be to provide ongoing support and coordination in order to enhance and ensure proper
implementation of the aforementioned system components.
OPTIONS: Approve/Disapprove.
RECOMMENDATIONS: Staff recommends approval of the Information Technology
Services contracts with TIG, L-3 and TEKLINKS, Inc. and requests approval for the Chairman
to sign each of the contracts.
