SUBJECT: Northwest Florida Regional Airport Skycap and Wheelchair Service

STATEMENT OF ISSUE: The Board of County Commissioners is requested to award the
contract for Skycap and Wheelchair Services to Crowne Aviation Services, LLC to perform
skycap and wheelchair services at Northwest Florida Regional Airport.
BACKGROUND: Per State and Okaloosa County procurement requirements, bids were
received for the skycap and wheelchair services on July 25, 2013. Bids were received from two
(2) bidders with Crowne Aviation Services, LLC as the lowest responsive bidder meeting
specifications with the lowest hourly rates inclusive of all overhead, management fees as well as
profit.
The contract term for these services will be for three (3) years with an option to renew for two
(2) additional 1-year periods.
OPTIONS: Approve, Reject or Table
RECOMMENDATIONS: Staff recommends the Board award the contract to Crowne Aviation
Service, LLC and authorize the Chairman to sign the subsequent contract.
