BACKGROUND: Southern Engineering Group, LLC on behalf of Devin Jones & Khader
Daoud, the property owners, seeks final plat approval for Phase II of Mossy Oaks Plantation (DO
276579-SDR-2005), a 36-lot single-family residential subdivision. The property is located on
Highway 4 & Garret Mill Road, Baker. The property is zoned Residential Rural (RR) and has a
future land use designation of Residential Rural (RR). Property contains 24.31 acres more or
less.
PUBLIC COMMENT/OPPOSITION: No comments to date
MILITARY REPRESENTATIVE: No comments to date.
STAFF FINDINGS AND RECOMMENDATIONS: Notwithstanding any other facts that may
be presented to the contrary, the requested 36-lot single-family subdivision is consistent with the
Comprehensive Plan and Land Development Code.
OPTIONS: Approve or not approve the final plat.
RECOMMENDATIONS: Staff recommends approval.
