'=_' l.._!.:-!.::\. 1st 2nd ORDINANCE 1666 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WALTON BEACH, FLORIDA, ADOPTING THE AMENDED OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF FORT WALTON BEACH, FLORIDA; RESOLVING CONFLICTS; AND SETTING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Fort Walton Beach, Florida, as folJows: SECTION 1.AUTHORITY The authority for enactment of this Ordinance is Section 166.021( 1), Florida Statutes ( 2005), and applicable provisions of the Code of the City of Fort Walton Beach. SECTION 2. ADOPTION OF OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF FORT WALTON BEACH, FLORIDA a. The current Official Zoning Map of the City of Fort Walton Beach was adopted as an attachment to Ordinance 826, on 28 May 1985, and is currently designated within the Land Development Code in section 382. The Official Zoning Map 20... designated the boundaries of the zoning districts established in the Code at that time. Since 1985, many changes have occurred to the zoning districts without subsequent adoption of an amended official zoning map. Further, technology has improved and the zoning map can now be colorized and have other attributes that make it more readable and easy to use. b. Therefore, there is hereby adopted the amended " Official Zoning Map of the City of Fort Walton Beach, which map is attached to this Ordinance and Florida," which is on file in the city hall. Such map and an notations, references and other information shown thereon are as much a part of the Land Development Code as if the information set forth in it was all fully described and set out in the Code. Any and all amendments and revisions of the official zoning map subsequently enacted are also made a part of the Code. SECTION ID. REPEAL OF CONFLICTING PROVISIONS In the event any provision of this ordinance is in conflict with any other provision of the Code, the provisions of this Ordinance shall prevail. SECTION IV. EFFECTIVE DATE.
