SUBJECT: Remove Surplus Property from Fixed Asset Ledger

STATEMENT OF ISSUE: As per County Policy & State Statutes, the attached list of County
Surplus Property (2 vehicles) was sold at auction on January 19, 2013 by Midway Machinery &
Auction. The auction was held in Tallahassee, FL. Funds resulting from the sale ($7,448.00)
have been deposited as follows:
Airports $1,318.00
OCT $5,630.00
Fleet $500.00
Total $7,448.00
Additionally, we request permission to remove Asset #07A-17408 (Ford Focus Sedan) owned by
the Health Department. This vehicle was totaled in a traffic accident.
OPTIONS: Approve or Reject.
RECOMMENDATIONS: Staff recommends approval to remove all items from the County
Fixed Asset Ledger.
