The operational plan is the same as the previous five years. We will have aid stations in Okaloosa County at Pompano Joes and the Back Porch. Special tactics will have radio operators to track runners and each station which will be manned by medical personnel. Destin fire volunteers will cover the beach between aid stations and to the county line. OCEMS and OCSO will be contacted via 911 if an emergency response is required. Command Post will be at Tops ‘| as previous years. Do you have any request to alter the plan for 2016, draft plan attached. As previous years entirely on beach, no road closures. We expect to have a total of 200-250 runners on the 50 mile stretch of beach during the run. Also as in previous years they will not leave the beach at any point in the event.
