55 services and is consistent with the comprehensive plan, the proposed
56 future land use map designation and zoning category as proposed is
57 appropriate, and the existing development on the property is consistent
58 with city regulations.

80 I. Upon adoption, this ordinance shall be filed, within seven (7) days, with
61 the dark of the Court of Okaloosa County, the Okaloosa County
62 Manager, and with the Florida Department of State.

64 SeCOON III. PROPERTY ANNEXED. The property desaibed in the attached
65 Exhibit " C" is annexed into the City of Fort Walton Beach

67 SECTION IV. EFFECT OF ANNEXATION.

69 A The area annexed shall be subject to all laws, ordinances, and
c 70 regu1ations in force in the City of Fort Walton Beach and shall be entitled
71 to the same privileges and benefits as other parts of the City of Fort
72 Walton Beach upon the effective date of the annexation.

74 B. The area annexed is subject to the Okaloosa County Comprehensive
75 Plan and zoning regulations. Said regulations shall remain in full force and
76 effect until the area is assigned a Comprehensive Plan Future Land Use
77 designation and is rezoned by the City of Fort Walton Beach to comply
78 with its Comprehensive Plan.

80 SECTION V. MUNICIPAL BOUNDARY REDEFINED. The Municipal boundary
81 lines of the City of Fort Walton Beach shall be redefined to include the annexed
82 property described as a metes and bounds description in Exhibit . C.-

84 SECTION VI. EFFECTIVE DATE. This Ordinance shall take effect immediately
85 upon approval by City Council and the signature of the Mayor.
