RESOLUTION NO. 2009-9
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF FORT WALTON BEACH,
FLORIDA, AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR OCTOBER 1, 2008 THROUGH
SEPTEMBER 30, 2009 BUDGET TO MAKE CERTAIN AMENDMENTS TO
APPROPRIATIONS OF CITY FUNDS FOR INSURANCE PROCEEDS
RECEIVED FOR DAMAGE TO CITY PROPERTY; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
WALTON BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:
Section 1. Authority
Resolution 2008-45, adopted on September 22, 2008, authorizes amendments to
the FY 2008-09 budget by resolution.
Section 2. General Fund Budget Amendment
The City has received insurance proceeds for a Right-of-Way vehicle totaled in a
collision and for a traffic signal cabinet damaged in a vehicle accident. The insurance
proceeds will be used to purchase a replacement vehicle and traffic signal cabinet.
Therefore, there is appropriated $19,055 from insurance proceeds increasing the
General Fund budget from $19,498,979 to $19,518,034.
Section 3. Effective Date
This resolution shall take effect immediately upon approval by the City Council
and signature by the Mayor.
