STATEMENT OF ISSUE: The purpose of this agenda request is to clarify the authority required
to obtain legal services. The attachment shows the current policy and the recommended change.
On July 2, 2013 the Board approved authorizing the County Administrator to approve selection of
outside legal services as needed.
