As Chair of the Okaloosa County Environment Committee, I have coordinated ____________________________________________________________________________ local beach and neighborhood clean-up efforts in addition to Aqualab water testing and environmental education for schools and community clubs. As Chair of the Okaloosa Home Rule Charter Commission in the late 1990's, I reviewed the structure of County government and became familiar ____________________________________________________________________________ with its operation. As the Okaloosa GOP State Committeeman, I participated in the County's annual budget process and learned how it reacted ____________________________________________________________________________ ____________________________________________________________________________ to the variations in revenue and expenses inherent in our local financial environment. My participation in a wide variety of community organizations and activities has provided an awareness of our local citizens' needs and the ability of municipal, county, state and federal governments to meet ____________________________________________________________________________ ____________________________________________________________________________ these requirements. I can use the knowledge and experience I have accumulated as a resident of nearly 30 years to monitor and allocate the large ____________________________________________________________________________ distribution of dollars that may soon be available via the RESTORE Act. In spite of recent scandals impacting out local government, I believe the basic elements of our County's infrastructure and operation can derive considerable benefit from the proper application of these funds with adequate ____________________________________________________________________________ citizen supervision and oversight.
