RESOLUTION 14- A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS; APPROVING THE — FIRST SUPPPLEMENTAL JOINT PARTICIPATION AGREEMENT TO CONTRACT NO. AREI5 RENAMING THE PROJECT TO PROVIDE FOR REPLACING TWO REGIONAL BOARDING RAMPS WITH TWO PASSENGER LOADING BRIDGES AND INCLUDING THE FEDERAL SHARE OF THE PROJECT FUNDING. WHEREAS, the County previously entered into a Joint Participation Agreement (ARE15) with the Florida Department of Transportation to Overlay Aircraft Parking Apron at Bob Sikes Airport, and WHEREAS, the County has determined that a higher priority project to Replace Two Regional Boarding Ramps with Two Passenger Loading Bridges at Northwest Florida Regional Airport should be funded therewith; NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Board of County Commissioners of Okaloosa County as follows: 1. The Board approves the SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT NO. ONE, a copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit “A”. 2, The Chairman is authorized to execute the Agreement on behalf of the Board. Amending description to Replace Two Regional Boarding Ramps with Two Passenger Loading Bridges (PLB) at Northwest Florida Regional Airport. These PLBs are to replace inadequate, unsupportable and unsafe ground level boarding ramps. Project also includes ground power units and pre-conditioned air units.
