The City Manager mentioned an emergency repair needed to Ladder Truck # 6 that she is allowed to approve and will bring to Council for ratification. Fire Chief Mike Dutton reported the cost of a replacement engine is around $ 36, 000.00 and with a new motor the service life left is five years. The City Manager announced the free gardening program at the Library on April 14th from 1 : 00 to 3: 00; the Earth Day/Arbor Day event at the Landing on April 20th from 11 : 00 to 8: 00; and the "Take a Trip to Spain" program at the Library on April 21 st from 10: 00 to 11 :30.
