The purpose of the Fort Walton Beach Waterfront Committee is to implement and recommend to the City Council funding for the projects necessary to achieve the goals and objectives of Charting the Course-Fort Walton Beach Waterfront Vision Plan and to implement the recommendations of the Water's Edge Master Plan. DISCUSSION: The Fort Walton Beach Waterfront Committee was formed as a five- member committee comprised of two boaters, two non- boaters, and one at large member. Each member shall apply to and be appointed by a majority vote of the City Council, will serve on the Committee for a term of four years, and may fill these positions for two terms.
