From: Stewart, Greg [gstewart@ngn-tally.com] Sent: Thursday, April 10, 2014 6:02 PM To: Amy Allen Cc: John Hofstad; Gary Real; Hoshihara, Lynn Subject: RE: Request for Legal Services Amy – I have reviewed the material and see no issues from the material presented. I do have a question as to whether John is the appropriate person to sign as owner of the property. Has he been delegated that authority previously by the Board in the past. If not, it seems to me that we might need to take it to the Board or at least seek direction of the Board in the future to delegate that responsibility to him. I am not sure what the drop dead date is for this agreement, the Request for Legal Services indicated April 22. If it needs to be done, immediately and there has not been a delegation of this authority, we could have John sign and ratify it at the next Board meeting. Other than that it looks fine to me. If you have any questions, please contact me. Then project involves 5th graders from Longwood and Kenwood Elementary schools who will be planting grasses along a portion of the shoreline. The CBA has spear headed several of these ‘Grasses in Classes’ educational projects in Walton County and would like to being the same opportunity to class rooms in Okaloosa County. John Hofstad and Gary Real, Risk Management, has already looked over the proposed project. Mr. Hofstad said he would sign the proposed agreement with legal council’s approval.
