STATEMENT OF ISSUE: Request approval of the Proclamation designating the week of
April 14-20, 2013 as "National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week".
BACKGROUND: Congress has established the second full week of April each year as National
Telecommunicators Week to honor the men and women whose diligence and professionalism
keep our citizens safe.
OPTIONS: Approve/Disapprove.
RECOMMENDATIONS: Approve the Proclamation designating the week of April 14-20,
2013 as National Telecommunicators Week.
