Although Buddy may consider himself a cotton -headed ninnymoggins, we know that you Mr. Wright Reynolds are a human who was actually raised by elves. Thus your overwhelming community spirit which you share at community events such as the tree lighting and the annual Billy Bowlegs Festival, is appreciated by all in attendance. As Mayor I encounter many residents who serve our City, yet it's just nice to meet another human that shares my affinity for elfculture. Having heard your stage performances many times thru the years, it doesn' t surprise me to note that you follow Buddy' s exuberances when he says the best way to spread Christmas Cheer, is singing loudfor all to hear. This year' s visit by Buddy and his reading of the classic ` Twas the Night Before Christmas ", as well as the announcements and introductions of the acts proved another Buddyism that you emulate: Ijust like to smile, smiling's myfavorite. Thanks, Michael Wright Reynolds, for helping our Parks and Recreation Department and all Citizens begin their holiday season, with sharing great holidayjoy during the annual Tree Lighting ceremony. Once again, on behalf of the City of Fort Walton Beach, we thank you and wish you, your wife Marcia, and your entire family a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
